Labor Laws?

I work for a store with horrible management. The manager we have was transferred to us because she had problems at her other store, with money. She was given the ultimatum of our store being her last chance. She has screwed up so much, and every employee has had a meeting with our corporate office with complaints ranging from sexual harassment that she didn't report, to discrimination towards an employee who was late because of health problems (diabetes). The corporate office takes these meetings, are appauled, but do nothing. They won't fire or transfer her because she's in her late 50's, but has only worked for the company for a year and a half. My complaints stem from being scheduled 18 days in a row last month. To constantly being scheduled til 3am, and then open 3 hours later for a full shift at 6am. My question is how to go the right way with reporting the broken labor laws on my behalf or any other problems outside the corporation, since they seem to be no help.|||If you had a union on your job, that would be the logical avenue to handle these kinds of problems. If you and some of your coworkers might be interested, you might want to consider trying to unionize your job (it's easier said than done - but the threat of unionization does tend to make companies treat their workers better)|||Try the sites below. Make sure to change the location/state in which you work. Hope this helps.|||If she has done the things you say she has then there are plenty of reasons for her immediate dismissal. Her age has nothing to do with it in any way,and she can be fired at any age. Something is not right with the scenario you described and be careful when you do complain to the Labour Board or the Human Rights Commission as only valid and truthful things can be reported and not office gossip and rumours or you will not be taken seriously.
