What would you do?

i hate my job. its not a career, im still just a college student with a part time job, and this is just for some pocket money. the sad thing is is that it has nothing to do relative to my major at uni. I hate the job and most of all i hate the management. they have been so disorganized with my schedule and the manager's don't even care when their employees are getting yelled from customers. they schedule me on days that they know i cannot work and do whatever they want with my schedule, and so this time i did whatever i want and did not show up to work. i didn't call and didn't show up, and i plan on looking for another job over christmas break. I wanted to quit or transfer before but they all gave me attitude and told me they wouldn't like that, so i stayed a little longer. but now im just gonna quit and not even call or show up, I cannot stand the job or management anymore. what should i do? and they constantly call me, whenver they need someone for extra help|||Tell them if they want you to stay they better treat you fairly and show you as much respect as they do others or else your going somewhere else. That's no way to be treated. Good luck! From what it sounds like though, I would go find a new job.|||I think it is better to not have experience, then to have a bad one.

Write a letter. A polite one...|||If they are calling you, they must think you are OK for the job. If you must leave, leave gracefully. You never know when you will need a reference for something else. Burning bridges was never a good policy. Get something lined up before you dump what you had. Lots of students can't find work in their majors. People hire graduates because they have graduated, and have the credentials. You don't have those yet, so tread gently.|||I understand how that can be a difficult situation . I myself am looking for a second job. My advise to you is to keep the job while looking for work. You may want to seek a union job where there your rights are protected and when applying be very honest about schedule limitations .An employer will appreciate it not only that after the holidays hours usually decrease.
